As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Adelante Healthcare relies on the support of donors and community partners to continue expanding its impact. For nearly 50 years, Adelante has served as a leading nonprofit healthcare provider in Arizona, dedicated to delivering high-quality, accessible care. With the 2023 Annual Report, our goal was to elevate the creative approach and showcase what truly sets Adelante apart—its unwavering commitment to patient-centered care.

As the lead creative on this project, I was responsible for ensuring that every element of the report aligned with the central theme: being rooted in wellness. This included coordinating photoshoots with featured individuals and departments, as well as launching a campaign to collect authentic patient testimonials from our community of over 80,000 patients. From those responses, I selected and conducted interviews with standout individuals whose stories best reflected the heart of Adelante’s mission and the impact of our care.

Prescription for a New Life

What would you do if you had to leave everything you knew behind to start over in a new country? In this emotional video Larysa K. shares how she's been given a new lease on life thanks to affordable, life-saving medication. She shares how the Russia / Ukraine conflict lead her to start over in America and how Adelante Healthcare was able to help her lead a healthier life.

A Search for Answers

In this triumphant story, we listen to Phil's talk about his experience as he was searching for answers in a world that seemed hopeless. Thanks to Adelante's Culture of Care, he felt heard, he felt validated, and was able to be properly treated for a tumor on his spine.

Conquering Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

In this heartfelt video, Ana Sanchez opens up about her journey with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). She shares how OCD has impacted her daily life and her family, describing it as a condition that compels repetitive actions due to fear of negative outcomes. Ana details her struggles with her symptoms until she received the support of her family and the compassionate care of her healthcare providers at Adelante Healthcare.

Getting a Second Chance at Life

What happens when your world gets turned upside down from a car accident? In this inspiring story, we listen to Mark J talk about how he got hit by a drunk driver and the trials he's faced. Thanks to the relationship he formed with his Primary Care Provider (PCP), his concerns were addressed, and he was able to be on the road to recovery.
